Our principal has over thirty years of progressive experience with a specialty in high-growth environments and businesses in transition. Beginning in Big 4 public accounting he moved onto financial management roles in high-growth technology companies. He has been the CFO/Controller of multiple start-up companies with successful sales of those companies to large, publicly-held buyers. He has been consulting small to middle-market business owners for the past fifteen years.
- Part time CFO as extension to executive team providing financial leadership and direction with a client's existing or other contract accounting staff.
- Interim CFO/Controller in a more hands-on role performing monthly closings and monthly reporting. Experience with various accounting packages from Quickbooks to Great Plains to Sage Intaact.
- Right-Sizing: Assisted a client in exiting unprofitable business lines and shed excess production capacity.
- Acquisition Due Diligence and Integration: Financial leadership career has included extensive M&A experience from both the buy and sell side.
Just as I enjoy assisting business owners to navigate their strategic decisions, I personally enjoy the sport of Orienteering which requires navigational skills using map and compass to navigate point to point through a course, usually in the wilderness. It's the thinking person's sport.
